Welcome to The Jim Utley Foundation, dedicated to helping kids live DRUG FREE
One of JUF's goals is to reach kids at a younger age than ever before, hoping that parents realize the value of discussions about the dangers of drugs with children of all ages. The simple, “don’t do drugs,” talks of the past no longer work. Kids who are armed with facts and have regular discussions with parents about the dangers of drugs are 42% less likely to try street drugs.
In addition, we now address the topics of prescription drug and alcohol use and abuse. Our organization participates in the prescription drug take back programs around North Texas in order to keep unused and expired medications out of the hands of our youth by proper collection and disposing.
Partnering with parents, educators, and community, The Jim Utley Foundation helps families and youthnavigate some of today's complex issues through education and programs at public and private speaking engagements. We also reach out to parents, educators and youth through healthy activities, youth meetings and fundraisers.

5 SIGNS Your Teen May Be Abusing Medicine
The Jim Utley Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3dedicated to rewarding youth for choosing to live drug free, getting good grades, doing community service, and participating in healthy living activities such as organized sports and clubs. In addition, JUF promotes overall awareness about the dangers of street and prescription drugs.
Kids of all ages receive information from various sources such as their peers, television, the internet, movies, and social media such as Facebook, Blogs, Snapchat and Twitter. Thus, our aim is to inform with accurate, timely information.
We are not a treatment facility, nor are we affiliated with one particular method of treatment or facility, and do not make recommendations concerning treatment for addiction. However, we are a valuable resource in educating and informing youth and parents.
The Jim Utley Foundationempowers teens and pre-teens to choose drug free lives. We reach them in the most formative years of their lives, hoping that they will establish a lifetime of healthy habits.
Visit our parent resources page here to learn about the dangers of emerging drugs such as Spice/ K2 and Bath Salts.
