Gleneagles Country Club hosted 128 golfers for the 2011 ClubCorp Charity Classic on July 3rd, 2011. Despite 100 degree temperatures and a 2 p.m. shotgun, golfers enjoyed the tournament. The event featured an all-American cookout, championship golf, a custom nut and fruit stand, silent auction, charity golf ball drop and fireworks the next day. The Jim Utley Foundation was one of three charities benefiting from the two-day open house and celebration; the other charities included the ClubCorp Employee Care Fund and MDA. We are excited to be chosen again to benefit from this annual tournament.
